Krohn (USA) In today's first four hours of official practice/qualifying for this weekend's 75th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the two Ferraris and six drivers within the Risi Competizione team completed their mandatory night laps and were able to use the available track time to work on headlight settings and the set up of the car for the race. Melo set the fastest time in car 97 (4m05.358) to place him 3rd in class and Jönsson in car 99 (4m09.065) gave him the 6th fastest GT2 time of the day.

The Sahlen's Six Hours at the Glen race at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York produced the best finish of the season to date for Krohn Racing team owner/driver Tracy Krohn and teammate Nic Jönsson with their fifth-place finish in the No. 76 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley. Colin Braun and Max Papis took their No. 75 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley to a 12th-place finish in the six hour race.

As the defending Six Hours at the Glen winner for the past two years, Krohn Racing is looking for a three-peat this Saturday, June 9th at the Sahlen's Six Hours at the Glen in Watkins Glen, New York. The two-car team of Krohn Racing consists of 2004 Glen winners and Krohn Racing team owner/driver Tracy Krohn, along with teammate Nic Jönsson in the No. 76 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley. The No. 75 Krohn Pontiac Riley will pair two-time Six Hours at the Glen winner Max Papis and 18-year-old hotshoe Colin Braun, competing in the event for the first time. Braun had to sit out last year's race due to tobacco sponsorship age restrictions, despite efforts from the team to waive the rule.

The VIR 400k at VIRginia International Raceway proved to be another exciting Grand-Am Rolex Series race at the historic 3.27-mile, 17-turn rolling green circuit. Krohn Racing's Colin Braun and "Mad" Max Papis, who both led the 400 kilomter/77 lap/two and a half hour race, finished second at the end. Krohn Racing owner/driver Tracy Krohn and Nic Jönsson, who ran as high as fifth, finished tenth overall in a good run for the duo.

The two-car Daytona Prototype Krohn Racing team is anxiously anticipating the first solo DP race of the season. The Grand Prix of Houston proved to be a challenging hometown race for the No. 61 Krohn-Risi Ferrari team. Houston native Tracy W. Krohn started the Ferrari 430GT from the 21st position, eighth in class and teammate Nic Jönsson brought it home 23rd overall, tenth in class after a couple small racing incidents, including nearly an hour pit stop for a radiator change.

Krohn (Krohn Racing) and Risi Competizione, both based in Houston, Texas, are running a Ferrari 430GT in this weekend's Lone Star Grand Prix of Houston race. The race, which will be held at the JAGFlo Speedway at Reliant Park in downtown Houston on Saturday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. CT, is one of four American Le Mans Series (ALMS) races for the Krohn Risi Competizione Ferrari team in 2007.

The No. 75 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley of qualifying driver Colin Braun and teammate, local Miami resident "Mad" Max Papis, will start from the second row, the fourth position. Despite the fact that the No. 61 Krohn-Risi Ferrari team of Tracy Krohn, Nic Jönsson and Colin Braun had a setback less than four hours into the 55th Annual 12 Hours of Sebring race, they managed to pull out a Top Ten finish in their first-ever American Le Mans Series race in the Ferrari 430GT.

The No. 61 Krohn-Risi Ferrari 430 GT team started the 55th Annual 12 Hours of Sebring race from the fifth starting position in the GT2 class, 20th overall. Doing single stints initially, Nic Jönsson started the race before turning over the car to Colin Braun after an hour, at approximately 11:05 a.m. Braun then gave the wheel to Tracy Krohn at 12:08 p.m. Nearly an hour into his stint, Krohn got sideways in Turn 13 and was hit by the No. 44 Flying Lizard Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, causing damage to the Ferrari.

Tracy is entered in the No. 61 Krohn-Risi Ferrari 430GT, along with teammates Nic Jönsson and Colin Braun, in the GT2 class for the 55th Annual 12 Hours of Sebring. Susan is entered in the No.21 Panoz GT, scheduled to race today, Friday, April 16th. The only female in the race, Susan qualified 15th in her class, of a total of 21 expected cars in the race.

The Krohn-Risi Ferrari team of Tracy W. Krohn, Nic Jönsson and Colin Braun has been busy getting settled into their new No. 61 Ferrari 430GT. The trio is at Sebring International Raceway, preparing to compete in the inaugural American Le Mans Series race of the 2007 season, the 55th Annual 12 Hours of Sebring. In today's qualifying session, 18-year-old Colin Braun qualified the car in the sixth position in the GT2 class, 21st overall in the 34-car field.

Krohn Racing and Risi Competizione, both based in Houston, Texas, announced recently they joined forces to run a Ferrari 430GT in the 55th Annual 12 Hours of Sebring race in Sebring, Florida on Saturday, March 17, 2007. They will field the green No. 61 Risi-Krohn Ferrari 430GT in the GT2 class. Risi Competizione, who owns the exotic race car, will prepare the machine for Krohn Racing team owner/driver Tracy W. Krohn, along with his co-drivers Nic Jönsson and Colin Braun. Krohn and Jönsson regularly pair in a Daytona Prototype Pontiac Riley in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. Braun is usually paired with "Mad" Max Papis in a second Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley in the same series.

The Mexico City 400k at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez in Mexico City was both a fantastic and a heart-wrenching race for the Krohn Racing team. The No. 75 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley of Colin Braun and Max Papis, which led the majority of the race, finished on the podium in second place after a late race pass. The No. 76 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley of Tracy Krohn and Nic Jönsson finished eighth overall, their best finish since the 2006 Rolex 24 At Daytona race.

Krohn Racing's young hotshoe Colin Braun captured the pole position today for the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Mexico City 400k at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez in Mexico City. Braun, who will pair with Max Papis for the 400 kilometer/100-lap/2-1/2 hour sprint race in the No. 75 Krohn Racing Pontiac Riley, turned a record-breaking time of 1:21.221 at a speed of 110.809 mph. Braun captured his first pole position last year at the Barber Motorsports Park in July, more than two months before his 18th birthday.
